OUR MISSION
Here at Life In Song we’ve been making music for 20+ years with some of the best musicians and songwriters in Music City - Nashville, TN. And along the way, we’ve realized something: you don’t have to be a professional musician to make beautiful music. In fact, some of our favorite projects have been with everyday people who just have a passion for music and had the courage to pursue it - so we started Life In Song to enable and empower people of all abilities and ages to express the stories of their lives through music.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to write a song but never knew where to start. Maybe you have lyrics scribbled down from years ago, inspired by that lost love, or a melody that’s been stuck in your head forever. Maybe you have a demo recorded and you want to turn it into a fully fledged professional track and release it for the world to hear! Whoever you are, whatever your level of skill or musicianship, we can help.
We’re a small business, not a big production house, and we love helping regular people bring their musical ideas to life. Whether it’s a song for yourself, a gift for someone special, or just something you’ve always dreamed of doing, we make the process easy, fun, and completely tailored to you.

THE PROCESS
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply put, we're a team of music pros who take your song from an idea, worktape, or demo and turn it into a polished, professional song.
STEP 1 - THE SONG
Bring your song idea! It can be a voice note, lyrics, a poem or a rough recording of you and your guitar. We can help you write or refine your song. Have you always wanted to make your own version of a Billy Joel song? We can help you do that too. If you already have a song written and ready to go, we move straight to Step 2!
STEP 2 - PRODUCTION
We help shape your song’s sound and choose a vocalist. Then we handpick top Nashville musicians and get all the recording done. Want to sing it yourself? We can help you make that happen too, wherever you are! When we have all the elements of your song ready to go, we move on to step 3.
STEP 3 - MIX AND MASTER
We mix all the elements of your song together and make it sound great. Throughout the process, we check in with you to ensure it sounds just the way you want and make adjustments based on your feedback. Once you're happy, we send you the final files for you to enjoy, share, gift or release.
